Year 5 undertook an ambitious project in Design and Technology wherein they planned and made their own unique soft toys. The pupils designed their toy, thinking carefully about the materials they would need and use and then used sewing skills to create their masterpieces. pic.twitter.com/y6v7WE0op9

Come dine with us! Year 6 cooked up a storm of starters last week during Design and Technology lessons including bruschetta, garlic bread and nachos. Magna Carta Primary Academy has a Local Governing Board (LGB) which is actively involved in all aspects of school life. It is the responsibility of the Local Governing Board to ensure that all members of our school community are safe and have equality of opportunity in line with this policy and our Equality and Diversity Policy.

The Local Governing Board works with school staff to support school improvement and monitor the impact of projects and initiatives.

The Local Governing Boards in BMAT take seriously their responsibility under section 175 of the Education Act 2002 to safeguard and promote the welfare of children; and to work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements within our Trust to identify, assess, and support those children who are suffering harm.
